At MAYSA, we do not currently provide a recreational division; however, we do follow the GA Soccer control dates as follows:
GEORGIA SOCCER YOUTH
AGE GROUPS FOR 2024 – 2025 SEASONAL YEAR
- Player age classification for the soccer seasonal year shall be determined based on the player’s age as of January 1, 2023.
- Single-year age groups can be used in the Recreational program if that better serves your membership. State-level Recreational competition is configured on two-year age groups--i.e., 10U, 12U, 14U, etc.
- Single year age groups are used for Select (GPL, Classic, Athena, Academy) programs.
